About the event
Join us for the 31st Annual Children's Hospital Trail Ride BBQ Cook-Off, an IBCA Texas State Championship competition benefiting the CHRISTUS Children's Foundation.
Held at Kosciusko Community Hall in Stockdale, Texas, this annual event brings together talented pitmasters from across Texas for a weekend of outstanding barbecue, friendly competition, and giving back to a great cause.
Whether you're competing for the championship, cheering on your favorite team, or simply enjoying the food and fellowship, you'll experience the best of Texas barbecue alongside the western hospitality that has made CHTR a cherished tradition for nearly 40 years.
In addition to the official competition, the weekend will feature special contests, family-friendly activities, vendors, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow barbecue enthusiasts—all while helping raise funds for children receiving care at CHRISTUS Children's.
