Leelynd Jacob Dragon-Barnett

Leelynd Jacob Dragon - Barnett was born on July 6th, 2023 to Kali Dragon and Alan

"AJ" Barnett. 

At the age of just 2 weeks old, Leelynd experienced a seizure and started turning blue in the face. I was able to get him breathing again and his color back before paramedics arrived and rushed us to The Children's Hospital in San Antonio. We were admitted into the hospital with multiple tests and EEGs. Dr. Jose Aceves was the neurologist that took on Leelynds case. He told us that Leelynd's EEG was abnormal and was diagnosed with Epilepsy in December of 2023 after several more seizures. Dr. Aceves has been so great to work with us.

We are still trying to navigate Leelynd's seizures and he still has breakthrough seizures once in a while. The Children's Hospital has been great when we go there and always so supportive.
